GOING TO THE DARK SIDE OF GRIEF
Someone else’s decision has also harvested an unabashed hatred never felt before…and if you have never felt scorn before, you do now. Forgive? Hell No. Hate? Hell Yes. Grief
and anger and vengeance become so heavy inside. With all that anger, hate and scorn, the weight soon becomes way too heavy to carry. There are tons of emotions hanging within, the weight pulling us down to the dark side. All that can be seen is red. This inner fury, this tempest of emotions stored somewhere inside the inner self has erupted and we don’t even recognize who we are anymore.
How do I get rid of this burden…this pain…this hatred…this scorn? Seek professional counseling and/or group therapy, talking with a trained counselor is so very important. You have to process those dark thoughts so that you can come to terms with them and move your grief forward. Another powerful way to help in your journey towards healing is prayer...and if you can’t pray…Ask others to pray for you. Pray to return to who you really are.
Take this heavy burden Lord. Release me from me.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
