Embrace Your Loss

Image
I recently facilitated a Grief Retreat and felt the intense pulse of people who have gone through a tremendous heartbreak – people who have lost their spouse or significant other or even more sadly enough, one of their children.  Loss can come in many forms, not just death.  People divorce, friendships end, body parts stop working or traumatic experiences can stop someone from living the same way. You can’t adequately express or put to words all the chaotic emotions that someone will go through when they are grieving – but you can prepare yourself for the wide range of physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological ups and downs that lie ahead.  Be aware of what is happening to you.  Embrace the intensity.  Don’t run away.  Go with it.  Shout it out. Free your inside self.  Let it be…. “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble and He brought them out of their distress.”   Psalm 107:28-29 For more information visit...
